Jeane had an ovarian syst over the holidays in 2008. They took her to the doctor's, and they said to go home and enjoy the holidays. In the next 4 days, they went to the emergency room 5 times. The doctors said she was coming in for more pain medicine, but everytime they left, they gave her more. Finally, Tony freaked out. Had he not, the doctor's said she would have died that night.

The syst had grown, so much that it blocked blood flow to her ovary, until it died. Since it was dead, it started releasing toxins into her body. And the medicine that she took to get the toxins out, causes most other patients to lose all their limbs. She was lucky in that, she only lost her legs below her knees, and her fingers.

I feel so blessed to have gotten this job, and I already love their boys! She does so much, even though she's so limited. She is truly....a hero.
